Chapter 2 Review 14-17 , 21

.) Competition has been beneficial to me in many ways. During a charity event, competition brings more buyers. That was beneficial to me because it made us more money. Another example is during a sport, such as basketball. Competition always makes me try harder and in that case, its beneficial to me because I try harder and have more determination.

.) I believe natural resources is the most important factor of production because it is one of the resources that we cannot control. It is up to us to make sure we will have enough supply of natural resources for our future. We basically need natural resources to live.

.)  I agree on the statement. People in America focus too much on their personal needs and not enough on the needs of America as a whole. People are so consumed in making money and having the next new trend that they forget that our country is in huge financial problems. We need to stop focusing on personal success and start focusing on fixing our problems as a whole.

.) Recycling can be considered  renewable resources because were reusing the items we've already used over and over again, there for, those certain things that can be recycled are considered renewable. On the other hand, its not renewable because companies are not making products recyclable like they used to. Many people also don't realize the need for recycling, and they are not doing it. This is making us waste many many materials, there  for if people don't recycle, all those products are non renewable.

.)  I believe ethics should be considered in making economic choices. Many companies go about making financial decisions the same way, they conduct research, collect and analyze data, monitor economic trends, and develop forecasts. They need to go  about this in a professional way in order for them to be respected in the business system. If nobody used ethnics, the business system would be a lot less organized and more chaotic. Also, i think if no ethics were used, competition would be a lot greater and more intense.
